Would you want to call off the engagement? Would you replace it for her? Would you want her to replace it with an identical one? Would you be upset? If so how so?

If she lost it and told me right away, no biggie, no body's perfect and everybody has lost something at some point in time in their life. And if a guy does get upset w/his fiance, what's more important that he still has her or that she lost a replaceable ring?

For me an engagement ring has no more appeal than any other jewelry. I will feel upset because it is something valuable that I gave her and it is lost.

I would feel the same way if it were a watch, a pendant a diamond or a CD. I expected her to be more careful. But I will not call off the engagement and most probably I would seek a replacement.

You can replace a ring, not someone you love and intend to marry. If it were me, I wouldn't be upset. Communication is paramount.

Does she really love you? Is she honest? Is she's goofy and don't take care of her stuff, DUMP HER! But also accidents do happen, that is a really tough question!
