You should go to Brussels and get a sight seeing tour.

Take on day for Brussels, a second for Flanders (visit Bruges and tour on the North sea (with the car, go from Ostende to Newport, with beautifully sights to the sea and the dunes). Third day to the Ardennes, sea Laroche or Bouillon. If you have time, dont miss the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg (one day for Luxembourg city, another for the Vianden and Echternach)

Brussels is good to see "grand place', atomium, and manneken pis but other in the street, mostly underground there are reeking !
You should go in Bruges (Flanders Part) It's wonderful city .
If you like nature, come to my region in South of Belgium www.soleildegaume.com you take train from Brussels to Virton by www.sncb.be.

The best place to visit in Belgium is Bruges. They call it the Venice of the North.
Antwerp,Gent, Lier are nice too. I

Take a day for Ghent, one for Brussels and the last one for Namur. They're by my opinion the nicest cities in Belgium; BTW Ghent got voted coziest city in Flanders last year.

Or: you could just get in a car and go to the places you think have the funniest names.
