some people from mexico are verry poor and americans do not want us to get welfare . but we need money too. americans do not want us to get the free money the goverment is giving away . why do americans needto be so greedy or are they just bigots ?

Wow. You are not totally filled in on the whole process are ya? People from mexico are very poor because the governments that have ruled over mexico, are greedy and lining their own pockets and keeping that away from the people. Did you know that Mexico COULD be a very wealthy country with just the OIL that it has? There are so many resources in that country, and the government has hid all the profit. Also its NOT that we don't want you to have the money from the US government, we just want the AMERICANS who deserve it to get it first.

how about: Americans have no money to feed all the Mexicans who chose to come over. I am working for my food and house, why cant the Mexican undocumented people?
Can I go to Mexico and receive welfare or are they too much of bigots? Or are they greedy?
Where on earth can I go and receive welfare for nothing?

American workers pay taxes to pay for government programs like welfare. Welfare is a program run by the government to provide for families who cannot make ends meet. This program is paid for by American citizens for American citizens. It is not a charity organization to provide for anyone and everyone. Of course we do not want undocumented workers to receive government checks that we pay for that are supposed to provide for our citizens. There are legal ways for immigrants to receive all the rights of an American citizen. Yes, they may take a lot of time but there are proper ways to go about emigrating to the U.S. We do not have the money to pay for everyone who comes over here to live for free off of government programs designed to help families composed of American citizens who have the legal right to live and work in this country to eat and pay the rent while they find a job. We are not greedy or bigots. If you want charity, go to a charity organization. Welfare is not a charity.

This money is not free. People have to pay taxes to subsidize these programs. I have to go without things I need and I go to work every day. When I did not have a job, I did not get welfare, I went out and found work. If people are coming to work, fine. If they are coming to take advantage of social programs and sponge off of others, they should not get anything. How dare you refer to money the government takes away from workers as free.

first of all welfare is for american citizens, why should the american citizens have to pay for non citizens to eat? if you want welfare become a legal u.s. citizen it's very simple, it is not being greedy or being a bigot by not wanting to pay to feed people of another nation who are not even citizens in this nation, and who by just being in this nation as they are, are committing a crime. and the money is not free, SOMEONE is having to pay that money, and it's the taxpayers who are paying it. so unless you want to become a legal citizen then get the hell out of this country.

Because it isn't your tax money that goes to the government and into the welfare budget. You didn't earn it. If you want welfare go to Mexico and get your gov to create a welfare program. You don't want to do that though do you ? No, you just want to come here and steal from us. Isn't that right?

Well, documented workers (legal) nationals have to pay taxes on everything they buy in the stores & out of their paychecks. When undocumented workers collect money it's usually not in the legal capasity so they are getting paid tax free then they use welfare that we the "documented" workers are providing with our taxes thus driving up the ammount of taxes we have to pay. So undocumented workers are basically costing us money & using benifits "WE" have paid for. So it's not free.

Not all of us. The public system here(US) is set up to assist the American public not others. We are one of the most charitable countries on the planet. We want our governmental institutions to take care of the issues we face on the domestic front and not to be burdened by outside,in this case Mexico and South America's domestic obligations. Peace.

You should get money from your own government. I was born & paid taxes here all my life. If any one should get help it should be me instead of you. And Iam tired of being called a bigot because your goverment can not take care of you and yours.
