I don't know about the absolute worse, unfortunately there could be another Waco, or People's Temple hiding around somewhere...

Certainly Scientology is one that probably effects the most, i'm not sure though.

ThetaAlways I suggest it is you that needs to look at the independant official documents concerning scientology, please the Church is controlling your access to information, and you know it. Control of information is a very overt form of control, as the book burning periods of old will show you. Please look at these court trials, and these official documents as well as ex-member testimonials - some of these people were probably your friends. Please just look, I beg of you.

What are you basing this question on?
The media? TV (South Park... huh!) ? Various bogus websites?

Certainly not any personal knowledge.

Get a life! Take your eyes of the TV and computer screen for 5 miniutes at least and take a real good look around you at what is actually going on here.

You are simply forwarding exactly what the vested interests that try to control these communication channels want you to forward.

Why would you want to be someone's puppet?

I guess it's your choice, but make sure you really have the facts before you continue your "campaign", unless you are content to be a sheep. Or maybe you also have a vested interest in keeping everyone herded into a sheep society!

Any teaching that draws people away from the One True God, the God of the Bible, is the scariest thing ever. What could be scarier than going to hell for believing a lie?

I agree it is very scarey..but to answer your question.. ever heard of LDS? that is a cult. Look up Joseph Smith. As a child he said he saw God..well that totally is against the bible. They are not really scarey people..but they do think they are better than anyone else. Thanks for letting me voice my opinion. Can you tell me more about scientology? Is that Tom Cruises' religion. I do not agree with him!

If so, Mormonism is a close second. I think the only thing that separates the two is that Donny and Marie never achieved the popularity of John Travolta and Tom Cruise.

In my opinion, the scariest part about it is that it was MADE UP - totally fiction - by a science fiction author (L. Ron Hubbard)... and yet people follow it as a true religion. VERY scary, that!

Bad science fiction author can't sell books. Oh no wait - I mean it's real! Yeah. The aliens aren't fiction now... Dude, you've got to get yourself "clear". Here, hold on to these electrically charged cans for a moment.
