im trying to lose about 50lbs and im looking for a diet that might be good, i dont have time for counting the calories or trying any exotic diets like the south beach diet ect, i am looking for something simple and that can be easily be incorporatted with me daily route. i have two young (8mths and 3yrs) kids and its difficult for me to exercise daily, i dont eat alot or heavy, im just trying to loose my post-pregnancy weight. i was told that apple cidar vinegar is good... is that true? how do you drink it, how often do you drink it, how long does it take before it can actually take effect to your body, are there any side effects?

First off, I'm only 18 years old and I'm not a health major. However, my dad started the whole Apple Cidar vinegar deal and saw great results within days. I'm not sure that they were weight related, but he says it was a good decision. His energy went up, his blood-shot eyes cleared up, and many more things. But he was always talking about it. I think he took a couple (maybe at each meal) of spoonfulls a day (4 to 5). Maybe with water because the taste is absolutely overwelming. I tried it, and I haven't been near it since. He loved it, but hated the taste and since he's not overwieght, he stopped. No side effects that I know of. I don't think my dad had any negative effects due to the vinegar. It's excellent for you, my dad says. I don't know, maybe you should just try it out.

Ive read that vinegar can help keep blood sugar levels down. The article i read was focused on avoiding diabetis, but lower blood sugar seems like it would help prevent weight gain too. In that case it seems you would want to have some with the meal, to help prevent blood sugar from going up and causing the body to store fat.
I'm not a doctor. This post is not medical advice.

Mayo clinic did a study about green tea extract that proves to aid better in weight loss then vinegar....As a trainer..... I put my faith in a "low glycemic" weight loss program.

Oh, please. Now, take a step back and ask yourself if this really sounds like it would work ...
Try thinking with a little more common sense and less about a magical potion that will melt away the pounds without having to change the way you eat or doing any exercise.
Forget the diets and revolutionize your lifestyle ... avoid the fast food and cut out the soft drinks.
