Can a 34yr old guy date an 18yr old girl?

No a 34yr old guy can't date an 18yr old girl.cause he will be put in jail for commeting date rape.even if he didn't do anything to her. cause most girls that age are still into playing little mind games with people.to get what they want.

Of course the answer is yes. Usually in the cases I've seen it doesn't work out though, because the other younger person is too immature or at a different level that point in there life, and eventually they see that, but people have to make there own mistakes. Anyway yes, they can date eachother and I have also seen it work, but I don't suggest it.

My father was 40, my mom was 18. They married and stayed together for 27 years. until death to them part.

It is not an easy combination. The 18 year old must be very mature and self confident. The 34 year old must be sensible and understanding. Both have to commit to each other. And the 18 year old has to be sure this man loves her and is not simply looking for great sex.

All that considered. it might work, but is not going to be easy nor happy.

Anybody can date anybody, if that's what you mean, but it wouldn't be right, to people from the inside and out. Most people would consider that as rape, because there's such a big gap between the couple. And if you think about it, it's a really, big gap. The guy was 16 when she was born. That's pretty old.

It's a bit of a big age difference but I guess so, whatever makes two people happy together then, as long as they're over the age of 18. For example, just look at Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise!

As someone who was in an abusive relationship with someone much older, when I was sixteen, I think you could ask yourself why isn't this person dating someone their age? I'm sure the 18 year old is a cool girl, but a 34 year old guy should be dating people his age - if he's not, there's something wrong with him.

When I was in college, we used to say the rule about dating someone younger than you was half your age plus 8 years -- (34/2) + 8 = 25, so no. You also have to ask yourself if this guy is interested in you *because* you're 18. If so, what happens when you're not 18 anymore?

I knew a 36 year old guy who married an 18 year old girl. His friends all made fun of him. Pretty soon, she got bored with home life and left him so she could go out and have fun with her friends.

Legally yes but it is morally wrong.Whats wrong cant he get a woman his own age? I know if I caught a 34 year old man with my 18 year old daughter he wouldn't like me very much. I broke a 24year old mans jaw for trying to date my daughter when she was 14 and the prosecutor did even file charges on me for battery.

Yeah, legally yes but why. I dated a 28 year old when I was 18 and it sucks why waste your youth on some old man. They are controling and old. Have fun and enjoy your youth with someone your own age who will not try to control you. Why sleep with a crumpled old man. Date a 34 yo when you are 34 yourself.
