If anyone lives in New York State &knows what genuine gelato should taste like,-- there are so many places out there who say they have gelato, but as far as I'm concerned they haven't a clue -- Can you please tell me where to buy it

Thanks to both Daniel and JAF for your wonderful suggestions on where I can find some genuine great gelato in New York City. When next I go there, I shall take your suggestions with me. However, I live in the Finger Lakes area of New York State and no matter how I try, I have yet to find some good gelato here. I would love to give you both best answer status but that is impossible so I will write your names on a piece of paper and do the eeny miney moo thing. Or if you want I can ask others to choose for me.
