President Bush's position on Stem cells is that there are some available already, so his compromise between those who believe scientists are getting too close to being able to clone, and the medical researchers who are trying to cure illnesses.
Compromise is good? Between two fairly good options, compromise IS good. Between one really good option and one really bad option, compromise is just half bad, but bad anyway.
The stem cells that are now "Legal" are too limited in their genetics.
People have so many different combinations of Gene alleles, that even siblings are not always compatible for transplanting organs, or for bone marrow transplants.
Scientists need more lines of stem cells to be able to match more patients.
As to what I think of Schwarzenegger's defiance of Federal government? He thinks he's really in the cat-bird seat for running for President. Somebody will put a bill thru Congress so that a person does not have to be a natural born citizen to be president. And I certainly do not like that!

i know..good attempt on his name though...there will always be mixed emotions on this topic...taking potential lives to save lives...i for one support it but any great advancements ill always be challenged
