Boxing is more physical than scoring points in sport martial arts. Martial arts, especially karate is meant for physically weak people to defend themselves in emergencies, but they would lose badly if they got in the ring with a skilled boxer.

1. A fighter should be able to take a blow as well as give one, boxing is good for toughening you up.
2. If you can beat every one you face after only a few years, you need a better class of opponents, in real competition no one wins every time, no one.

Boxing will help with martial arts and martial arts will help with boxing. You might try kickboxing, it's closer to karate with more of the straight punching and you will get to use your kicking too.

From the sounds of it, your energy might be better focused on training your "internal martial arts." Fighting isn't just about how you look or how you fight, or how many opponents you can conquer.

i think that the more versatile the better. however, i very much agree with "the bulletpr..." that doing some "internal work" is a great benefit: chi kung, perhaps a bit of tai chi and hsing i, type studies. also, becoming involved in meditation helps. for me i've noticed big improvement from doing the internal energy work. definitely improved my speed and concentration, and energy levels. also helped to balance me out generally, and get my ego more out of the way.

I think you need to find a real competitor...I do not believe that you have never been beaten...I think you are a legend in your own mind
