I don't think there is any absolute test, but if he tells you everything, including things that could potentially make women reject him, and if he stays in the relationship even if you say something like "no sex until marriage" or he's prepared to be friends if you say you don't want a relationship, then he's probably sincere and it's likely that he cares about you and isn't just being selfish.

By the way he talks to to you. I mean if a guy is sincere he doesn't just tell you lines he tells you what he means from his heart. If is not from the heart it isn't sincere.

Dear Carley,
A guy known as the "God created thing" that very hard to hide their feeling. If one guy like you as just the way you are, NOT "what" you are, how much money you have, or what kind a clothes you wear...etc. and one thing, he is not bubbling over when he is talking to you and he shows some respect and understanding to you...I think you can assume that guy is "sincere" guy...

What he's telling all are true. If you found out later that one thing he said was lie, then he's not sincere though...

look into his eyes, listen to the sound of his voice, sincere guys alot of times has a slight sound or fear or worry in their voice when they talk about maters of the heart. i know i do.
