The UN couldn't make the decision to make a decision, but I think maybe we should pull out and let the dumb shits kill themselves. It would be a lot cheaper.

First of all, the UN as a world governing body does not have nuclear capabilities. Some of the Charter member countries do; however, will not likely do so with UN approval. That's unlikely, because the governing counsel and NOT the US has individual interests (i.e., oil) and have NEVER helped anyone to date. Even UNICEF has been mismanaged in my opinion.
Also, I wouldn't count on the UN for anything. These are the same folks who all turned their head during the Croatian, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Rwanda, Sudanese, and Iraq conflicts. Even if they do show up, as soon as the shooting starts, they are leave until it's safe again.
The USA, while capable of nuking everybody with more to spare and a BBQ, probably will not nuke anyone unless doing so would be a defensive response.
On the other hand, Islam is a "peaceful religion," so I'm sure they'll arrive at a peaceful solution. Everyone knows those suicide bombers are really part of an Israeli-American/Judi an-Christian conspiracy to make peace-loving Muslims world-wide look bad.
As far as ending this crap once and for all, I believe that if Jordan, Syria, and not just Israel, were to return at least some of the former Palestinian territories, much of the middle eastern conflict would be diluted.

The United Nations could not unanimously vote to toss a smoke bomb into a room with Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin, Genghis Khan, Khomeini, Pol Pot, and Mao Tse Tung, much less nuke anybody that history has not yet judged as evil. The U.N. is a laughing stock when it comes to mitigating foreign conflicts and until the freedom-loving democratic nations of the world come to that realization and form their own organization for such functionings, we shall continue to have crisis after crisis as the U.N. reminds us all of the 3 monkeys: see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.

The UN doesn't have nukes...
And even if it uses US nukes, it would have to use so many of them (can't leave any survivors) that it would plunge us into nuclear winter, killing most of the life on Earth.

No, not everyone in the Middle East is wrong. They are people, just like you and I.

You would be wasting your time and bombs, only killing innocent people. Control and power along with the financing for both sides possibly can be found within our own country from the same people.

Some would say yes-- some would say no-- // I personally say no because that would pretty much make a world war III.. not to mention kill millions of innocent people -- war is not the way to make peace with people who disagree with other peoples beliefs.
