I know that organic food is expensive due to the highest quality of it's products and by not using any chemical pesticides they usually possess in other kind of foods.

How much of the money you spend in all kind of foods you dedicate to "organic foods" only?

Also, where do you live?

Thanks

I don't eat that stuff. It is WAY too expensive and a lot of it tastes horrible. And why is it that the same people who eat healthy food and criticize those who eat junk food are the SAME ones who are just as overweight as anyone else? I know LOTS of fat earthy-granola-type people!

I don't think I actually "dedicate" any grocery money earmarked JUST for organic food. The largest outlay is for the organic meat and poultry of course. Organic pork chops brown like they used to in the good old days. Most larger chains have a "Tender & Juicy" meat which is a salt brine solution to tenderize it. No thanks! Northwest Ohio has some great organic vegetable farms too. So when in season I buy more than I do in the dead of winter.

I mostly buy my fruits and vegetables organic. As for price, it's worth the money. I spend only $10 more then I would if it were non-organic.
