How would you punish your child if she/he was caught smokeing?

Make him smoke a whole pack one after the other.

Show um pictures of lungs full of tar.
Then tell them millions have died because they thought smoking was cool and it was addicting.
Tell um thousands of kids are left fatherless or motherless because there mothers or fathers think that they can quit at any time but they cant.
Tell them how is it cool to kill your lungs, who wears a bomb around there neck knowing that it could go off thinking that is cool. Even if that bomb does make you feel good. Its still a god damn bomb.
There is no use in punish them, they will make there own choose when it comes to things like that.
You really cant stop them trust me i know.
But if they find out what cancer is all about that will be punishment enough!

That's a hard one. I've heard some people say to make them smoke the whole pack at once so it makes them sick and not want to anymore. Personally I would find a graphic article or picture of what a smokers lungs look like to scare them out of it. And explain to them that some even die at a very early age because of it. Good luck.

Explain the bad effects of smoking first of all. Which all kids could care less about. Second I would tell them that as long as they live in my house they would not be able to smoke.

Not sure what I would do...but I hope I don't have to worry about it. My kids go to their dads or grandmas and come home smelling like smoke, and they complain about it quite a bit. My oldest won't even go there(he's almost 16), because of it. When he was like 5 or 6 he kept saying he was going to smoke, and kept trying to steal a hit from his grandma, so she let him smoke it. He got sick and has complained about smoke ever since!

Pretty sure our daughter would NEVER smoke. We''ve had this discussion many times. She's 13, and she said she wouldn't even date a smoker when she's old enough to date.
If I did catch her:::::: It would break my heart.
You kids need to care about yourself more then that. Smoking is BAD, SMELLS, BAD!!!! I guess there would be a LONG dragged out talk, and probably wouldn't be allowed to go out for awhile. And if her friends smoked, I'd be calling their parent to be sure they know as well.

i agree with the first answer and maybe they'll learn it would probably scare them or make them worried unless they already know and just dont care and yeah aint no e in smoking just thought i'd clear that up hope he/she quits oh yeah why would you make them smoke the whole pack and junk like that it'll only make it worse and they would become addicted to it AND they wouldnt learn nothing and their lungs would get black b4 u know it

If my child was caught smoking I think I would take them him or her. To that one museam showing what it could do to your lungs or your health

I'd show them a pic of a black lung,and tell them thats what its gonna look like if you keep smoking.
