Depends on which state you reside in. Most southern states require the operators to be around 14 and have passed the safe boating class put on by The Coast Guard or US Power Squadron.

In the state of NC you have to be 16 and have your driver's license...check your state's law.

a jet ski is a rec. vehicle but indevidual states will have diferent requirements check with yoyr DMV

Nope, depending on whether your renting it or you own it there is a minimum age usually 16, or under 16 with an adult. If you own it you can do what you want.
