b/c the options for non-natural death tend to be painful. Plus it's a rather Final decision. I've seen people pop a couple thousand brain cells trying to decide whether they want a latte or a mocha today.
It takes a lot of things making someone actively Not want to live to overcome the fear of the unknown that death represents.

YOu don't have to live. you can end it any time you want. You are born, aren't you? So why do you live when you are born? Because somebody loved you enough to take care of you and give you what you needed to live and hopefully have a happy life. Not everyone will die as there will be some alive with Jesus comes back. They will not die but will be changed to have a perfect body to go to Heaven. Maybe you need to read a little of a bible sometime.

I have always wondered about this same question. I know that God gave his son so we would have a better life but when I see so many deaths at young, and old ages alike I wonder what it's all for. To live, work, acheive , save go through hard times , it's all a mystery to me. Sometimes I don't think it's fair to do so much in life just to leave the earth, and leave everyone you love with a broken heart. This makes me not want to strive for anything.

we were born in2 diz world bcoz we were eager 2 see the world. we wanted 2 c wat d world is made of. thus, we made an arrangement wif God. problem is, for sum of the unfortunate ones, God has warned us that we may be crippled becoz of a car accident, example, n we were so eager and determined as to see the world, we heed his warning with deaf ears n went on ahead 2 b born.

sum of wat we go thru in life has already been stated in His 'book'. its called fate. bad fate, tho He'd made it happen on purpose 2 teach us lessons, could b avoided if u had used sum intelligence.
