Being dumped is not nice, but it's a fact of life. Virtually everyone gets dumped at some stage, and whilst it hurts, it is a normal part of growing up.

If you are dumped, then first try to understand why you were dumped - did you do anything "wrong" that you can learn to correct, or was it one of those 'drifting apart' things.

The key is not to feel bad about yourself - tell yourself it is their loss not yours and you are a great person.

Try not to let your confidence get knocked. Continue doing all your other activities as before that did not involve that person and stay busy.

Do not be tempted to pine for them or try to get them to change their mind. Use your energy in a positive way to get on with your life.

Hope this helps~ Contact me if you need anything else~

it's hard to know when we dont know you or your circumstances at all.. we also dont know your boyfriend..give more details..what was your relationship like???// describe at least 6 months before the break-up....and did u notice any changes? any major annoyances? fights etc? and if you were ugly...he wouldnt have went out with you in the first place..so dont feel sad about that first response. the dude has the lack of tact and manners.

If you just say "Forget you" and walk away, he'll regret it and ask you back (which I don't think you should take him back). Men are just emotional creatures and the fact that you did not mope and cry around him, is going to devastate him.

most jerks like to have a summer relationship as well as a school year relationship, with different people, and it could be that he just didnt want to go out with you over the summer

you sound young - and if he is young too, he isn't as mature mentally as you. (assuming you are a girl) He probably got to thinking about everything he wanted to do this summer, and decided he wanted to be footloose and fancy free -- don't dwell on it too much, go find your own fun and enjoy your summer. life is too short to sweat the small stuff, and in 23 years, this will truly seem like small stuff, and you probably won't even remember his name.

Sounds like a guy with deep thoughts and conversational skills. I don't know. Hmm, when asked why he stuck his head in the toilet, he replied, I don't know.

maybe its because he wanted to have freedom during the summer....keep his options open.....if he asks u back out again after school starts up again, that was probably it.

he has other options somewhere else. a guy doesnt dump a girl for no reason unless he has something else lined up.
