I think an agnostic is someone who doesn't know if God exists or not, or doesn't think it is possible to ever know.

And I think a theist is anyone who believes in God, including people with a religion.

You are called a child of God. Organized religion is optional.

A theist or agnostic. If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and have a personal relationship with Him, then you are a Christian. There is no religion involved in that either. You don't have to belong to a church to be a believer. All you have to do is have the relationship.

I consider myself a theist. I believe in a god, and I do not belong to any religion. In my opinion, I'd even say that the god I believe in is the same God Christians worship(God, not Jesus, though), but still I consider myself a theist. Agnostic means you haven't decided if you believe in God or not, so the answer is not agnostic. Theist.

Theist is the belief in god or gods, especially one God. Monotheism is the belief in one God. Belief does not necessarily include worship of the One God.

Satan believes in One true God, although he has challenged HIS/YHWH's sovereignty.

James2:19..the demons believe and shudder.

True worshipers are called Christians, a divine name; Acts 11:26. Revelation, calls the congregations of Christians by the names of the cities they live in; Rev.2-3:22. Acts 15:14 says 'God has turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name.'

Forget religion.

Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Christ is the tree of life.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Agnostic. They aren't hung up labels or specific religious affiliations, or definitions. Atheist don't believe in God (or so they claim). But if they believe in anything outside themselves...anything greater than themselves, or if they comprehend the wisdom inside them...then they only think they don't believe. It is usually because they don't agree with traditional concepts. They are often lead to people who do believe. This often reflects the intelligence and wisdom they so quickly deny. It is too bad people are hung up on labels.

If the person simply believes in God it wont do anything for them

James in the bible says, "the devils also believe and tremble", and obviously we all know devils are not saved from the fires of hell.

Repentance is the key, turn to God and ask him to save you from the devils grip. The choice is yours, God will not make you choose.

A person that believes in God with all their heart, is a Christian. Religion is so misunderstood, it can be anything that u worship. But believing in God is being a christian, living for him and loving him and talking to him through your day.

Hello QueenMonkey.. :)

A child of the Most High God..I attend an Assemblies of God Church, but I do not follow any religion..I follow the teachings of my Lord and Savior Jesus..

James 1

26 ¶ If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)
