That would probably depend on what 1000 pages you are reading. In other words, Old Testament or New. It's all subjective anyway. Interpretation is in the mind of the reader. I think (personally) that the best advice the bible has to offer is, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you". I believe that if everyone could follow that doctrine the world might be a better place.

You're asking for a Book Review of the Bible???

cool!

It's an autobiographical account of the creator of all things. It contains suspense, enlightenment, and deep truths. It's plot is based around the meaning of life; It reveals the TRUE path to righteousness, and offers a map as to how to achieve it. Redemption. Repentance. Revelations! It's all there!

lol

Cool question.

God was around in the beginning and wanted fellowship. Being a holy and sinless being, he could not abide by the sin of His creation and there was a gap that men tried to fill for centuries.
Many happenings and circumstances pointed to One who would bridge that gap so that the Creator's creations could find their way back and once again be in fellowship with Him.
When the One (sounds like Neo, huh? :) ) came, He was rejected, and although disposed of, fulfilled prophecy of God's all-knowing plan through the ages and pages of the Bible by resurrecting Him as reconciliation for all of our sins to fill that gap. Now there is a way back! The ending of the Bible is about what is to come and finally physically being restored to the One we belong to in the first place. End of summary. Thank you for your question

Believe it or not, I was looking through a bunch of Cliffnotes books in a bookstore and I found a version explaining the bible. It was just as long as the versions for 200 page books.

After we began sinning, God's wrath poured out at us and couldn't have eternal life. When Jesus, out of love, died on the cross, he became the ultimate sacrifice, thus ending God's wrath, forgiving us of our sins, and opening the gates of eternal life. Jesus will come again in glory to judge the living and the , and his followers will be saved.

If you classify it as fiction: a poorly edited story with unimaginably one dimesional characters.

If you classify it as the word of God: a poorly edited story, with unimaginably one dimensional characters, plot holes you could drive a truck through, and more incosistencies than the american gov't.
