Is it o.k. to feed dogs fruit and if so what kind?

Mine like apples,melon,peaches,pears,and many others. Whatever they like is good. Yes except the grapes and raisins.

Veggies are good too.

My vet told me that you can feed a dog anything that we eat EXCEPT onions, grapes or raisins. Those 3 items will cause a problem with their kidneys down the road.

My Dobermans would go out and pick theyre own. We have a fig tree and they coulnt get enouph of them. I finally gave up on trying to collect figs for myself. And yeah I think in this case everyone is pretty much on the dot. And in case anyone says they are poisonous, my dog lived to a ripe old age of 14, which is great for a dobie. She also ate Onions....

Mine doesn't like any kind of fruit but it probably depends on the dog.

Just take out the seeds..everything but grapes and raisins are fine, easy on the tomatoes, no onion, not macadamia nuts..Some pits or seeds are toxic (especially apple) so feed all it wants, seedless.

Any fruit it will eat except grapes (heard those and raisins weren't good for dogs -- something about their kidneys).

my dogs eat all kinds of fruits. it's really dependant on the indivdual dog. as long as it's not throwing the fruit back up, it should be fine.

Yes it is okay but slowly introduce it to your dog or you will make an upset stomach. Bananas are on of the first I introduce to my pups

My dog loves strawberries, peaches, blueberries, whatever fruit i give her. But do expect it to beg for more...

yeah its ok. just wouldn't feed them too much citrus fruits!! My dog likes bananas
