It's 77 degrees here in NC, but it is 86 degrees inside because my air conditioner isn't working.

Where are you, the West End? It's always hotter near downtown. The epicenter of the heat island.
I just stepped outside and read the thermometer. It is reading 92 degrees.
It is 7:22PM.
For the past week, it has been reading about 110 but not today.

Sorry to hear that in IL we have a cold front pushing through and it is 80 here but it won't be long it gets to 99 in southern IL and heat index is 115. The humidity is the killer. I would rather have dry heat but then I might not have my pretty flowers then Even at 80 it is very hot with the humidity

Right now is 117 F, forecast for the rest of the week is between 107 and 120 F (High) and 89 F low.

Sacramento, California 112 and humid today just like Texas> i lived in North Dallas in 1996 and today I felt that humidity like Texas it's crazy
