It would seem that the military solution in Iraq has only created a terrorist problem where before there was none. In Israel it has only served to create more terrorists, in the UK, Britain ended up having to negotiate with the terrorists to really end the IRA conflict. It's all very well to say "they don't answer our emails," but especially with American first amendment rights, it's idiotic to suggest that Americans would not act similarly if confronted with a similar situation.

yes and no tghe military needs to disarm them but we need propaganda or something to change their beliefs in violent action thats how we can subdo most of the terrorist.

the U.S. has always had a policy to not negotiate with terrorists durind standoffs in this country. there is a reason for that, the more you give terrorists what they want the more they are gonna repeat their actions. they have only shown this time and time again, isreal gave palestine the west bank and gaza, what was the reaction? palestinians came across the border, attacked isreal and captured two soldiers. so really the only solution to the problem is to destroy the problem. war is not a sporting game, you find your enemy and you crush him.

Al Quaeda's bases in Afghanistan were destroyed by soldiers.
I personally watched (via live video feed) high-level AQ personnel die in Iraq.
There is no 'peaceful' way to neutralize a terrorist. The way to get rid of them is to relentlessly pursue and kill them.
