As a Jew i read the scriptures serching for truth-and i found-Isaiah 52 vs 13-53 vs 12 "He will be exaulted but first marred more than any man-and he will be the anointed one(the Messiah) and lay down his life as our sacrificial blood atonement lamb, be despised and rejected...... Isaiah keyed on on it in the 6th verse "All we like sheep have gone astray, and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all."
well what do u think-how Jesus was perfectly pictured
Yet why? our Jewish Messiah came-and we did despise him and reject him-did u see the movie 'the passion of Christ' ?
would u die for people that despised and hated you-innocent for their sins?
would u rise from the grave and offer to forgive all people and come into their heart and be their friend?
Jesus saith, "Behold i stand at your heart's door and knock, if you hear my word, and open the door, i will come in and deliver from sin, and be your friend" so i prayed "Messiah come in forgive me amen"

To me Jesus is my Savior, my messiah. He died for me.
He did it because he is God.
I own the Passion of the Christ.
I wouldn't did for those who despised me, but I sure am glad Jesus did.
I can't rise from the grave like Jesus did. But again I am so glad He did.

I as so excited. Welcome to the family.

I'm also Jewish. First of all, it's accepted that a man (that may or may not have been the messiah) named Jesus lived 2000 years ago. However, the Jews have good reasons not to accept him as the messiah. (I'm sorry, but I do not have the names of the chapters of the Bible in front of me.) There are parts of the Torah that say the messiah will do the following:

1. Be a descendant of King David on the father's side.
2. End all diseases.
3. Ressurect the dead.
4. Have the Temple rebuilt.

Jesus does not mean these aspects of the description. By the way, make sure that you are looking at the Jewish version of the Bible, not the King James version. Over the last few millenia, the Christian version underwent changes.

It has been prophesied about the Lion Laying down with the Lamb. It appears that means when the Lion of the House of David accepts Christ as the messiah. The true messenger or prophet of God. It has been suggested that the early jews knew the truth originally and that is their covenant to keep it a secret until the end or chosen time. To not fight is your right. Hell no I won't go.

He is more real that anything or anyone you have ever known or will ever know. He is everything.
He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Light of this world, the Lamb of God and our Saviour.
Isaiah saw what I wish everyone could see. That Jesus would leave His place in Heaven and come down to this sin filled, dirty earth to save us, all the while knowing that most would reject Him. They beat Him, mocked Him, spit on our Lord, and all the while He was dying for us.
And He did nothing- nothing to deserve any of it- He healed all who came to Him- He helped anyone that would believe.
Yes He is the Messiah. And what a friend we have in Him.

Yeshua is real and He is the Messiah- the one spoken of in Isaiah - He is wonderful , counselor, almighty God the everlasting Father, the prince of peace! He has fulfilled all prophecies spoken of Him in the Old Testament - here is a good place to go to read some of these prophecies and see the fulfillment:

Yes i belive that Jesus came and succeded in his mission/// One has to remember that He came from heaven,a place of great peace and tranquility and realized that we humans needed His help to go there to be with Him because He was in love with mortal man and cared for him realizing we would be lost in torment with satan if He did not provide a way///Yes i saw the movie , and why do you think our dating system has BC (before Christ) and AD (after the death of Christ) if the story of Christ is not real why continue to use that system? also there were several hundred people who saw him after the crufixition his friends and former enimies as well and were converted to Christianty/This was a result when God created satan and satan rebeled and wanted to be like God and this is where man was tempted to sin and follow satan to hell// God knows we are mortal man on earth but our souls continue forever in heaven or hell// So God may feel a bit of responability . at any rate who could have done a better job of providing a better way to live for all mankind and eternal life in heaven with Him who made all things, what a gift//Forgive me Lord if i'm wrong in Jesus name

I have a Jewish friend who recently accepted the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus Is real, and I can tell you, that I once was not a Christian, I was a Pagan, and I did not have eyes for Christianity. One day I felt myself being drawn towards Him and I opened my eyes, and my heart to the truth and I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as MY Lord and Savior.

Jesus is my comfort, and my strength. He died for my sins and I am forever grateful.

Alot of people (even devote Christians) often put to much emphasis on Jesus "the person" and completely forget about Jesus "the message". If you know and believe the stuff Jesus taught like, "Respect your neighbor and his property", "Be good", "try not to get into to much trouble", then it doesn't matter if you know who Jesus "the person" was.

I always believe a radical zealot was someone who acted in Jesus's name but did things Jesus would have been strictly against. (I'm pretty sure Jesus was against capital punishment)

Yes, He is the messiah. Just as the Jewish people used to reject and kill the prophets that was sent to them, they happen to kill their messiah, for His teaching was not what they wanted to hear. he was born too lowly to be the Son Of God, so did they reject him.
