When people ask questions, they really need help with real answers from people who've been there or have the knowledge to provide real insights. But there are many answerers who will just put meaningless one-line answers like:

"I don't know."
"Go see a doctor."
"Why don't you ask him/her."
"I don't know what to tell you."

OHH and here's my favorite of all:
"Some people like [or insert over verbs] it, some people don't."

Well, gee whiz. That REALLY says a lot.

Just do the person a favor and DON'T ANSWER.

Oh yeah, feel free to answer anyway for 2 points. I don't care :P This was more like a comment. LOL.

Yes, it is quite bothersome. It makes one want to refrain from asking a legitimate question. It also makes one almost leery to give a legitimate answer. But you know, I just scroll through all the "points for my no sense" and I answer from my heart, just hoping that the asker, will patiently wade through and find what I offered. I sometimes am amazed when my answer is chosen as best answer and I wonder why - and then I read the alternatives and I don't wonder at all - I was the only one who offered any kind of hope, encouragement, or options. I don't answer for the points, I don't care about the points - I answer because there are people who I know have been or are in situations I"ve been in that truly have reached a place in their life that they say - why? and I don't have answers, but I have what got me through, and if it just helps one person out of all the yahooers - then it was worth it. So, don't get discouraged, just keep knowing that if you answer from your heart, you're going to make a difference to someone along the way. Why is your name AngryGirl? Life's too short to choose anger - and it takes an awful lot of energy - but until you can find it within you to change that anger - you have found a good place to vent!

People shouldn't be asking certain health questions on here. If you have a medical problem you should go see a doctor, not listen to people who possibly don't know what they are talking about.

Anyways if this bugs you, just ignore those post.

Some people like to get 2 points, I guess.

I'd have to say my favourite pointless one line answers would be:

Just a period. (yes I've seen it)
Just a bunch of letters and numbers. hsudsihaddniy98en
Something in another language.
A plea for 10 points.
An advertisement for a product is completely off topic. ( I get this so much).

Yes, some of the people are really rude and just out there for the points. The only thing you can do is report them. Sorry I don't have more advice.

Some people think this is annoying, and some don't. But I don't know. Why don't you go see a doctor of psychology and ask him/her. Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you.
