Let's see.. I'm going into Jr. High this year from elementary school (7th grade). I am really nervous! Is there anything i need to know to be prepared so i dont freak out as soon as i enter?

Oh boy, that was awhile ago. Well, first off, you should get there early. Middle schools are bigger than elementary schools, and you should get to know the campus. Get to know people also!! Don't be shy to just walk up to people because they are usually as nervous as you. In addition, join clubs!!! You can never start too early, and junior high usually has clubs and sports you can join. Good luck and don't worry!!! In a couple of years, you will be so surprised that the time flew bye!!!

Enter with confidence. Maintain friendly but limited relationships with other students. Be open to meeting new and different personalities. Some students come in with an attitude, some come in with a chip on their shoulders, i.e. I am tougher than you will ever be......leave them alone..... Some come in with an eye to discover new things because this is a new and grown up event in your life. Keep in constant communication with your parents or guardians as to what makes you nervous and what makes you happy to be there. Try not to be a loner or dress to draw unnecessary opinions about the type of person that people may think that you are. Let it be know in your actions that you will not compromise your morals, your character, your you for anyone or anything to be included in a group. Rest easy. Be you and you will be fine. Communicate with those that matter to make a good person out of you. Keep good grades. Take school seriously. Study hard. You will be alright. And pray always for the strength needed to attend school.

Always keep in mind that, when you're inclined to freak out, you can bet that pretty much all of the people around you are freaking out too. Some of them just hide it better.
The same skills that got you through elementary school will help you through junior high. Just be yourself, do your work, and squeeze in as much fun as you can. The transition may give you a few bumpy days, but before long you'll settle into a new routine with new friends and new things to learn and look forward to.

be friendly be open to other friends while also keeping the friends you made already a smile can make a difference i made friends that way and now im surrounded by people i love i think teachers will set high standards so try to balance your grades because your parents can use that as an excuse to not let you go out and stuff like that joining a school activity also helps others in your grade are just as nervous too its common good luck :)

dont worry about going into junior high i just finished 7th its totally funn! u need to have a blast and not care about what people think of u
yea there will be alot of drama and rumors but as long as u stay out of it and dont care ull be fine and focus on school 7th grade has some hard subjects

DON'T gossip trust me & don't be nervous I just finished 7th grade it was the best grade yet ! =)

middle school aint nothing its high school that you need to worry about just listen to the teachers and dont get into fights

Just remember to be yourself, that's the most important thing, don't try to impress people by being someone you're not, guys like girls that don't try to impress them
