Everyone is taking her question a little too seriously. She's definitely NOT racist, she said Black women only because it's obvious that everyone depending on their race have different hair. Whether it's the texture, etc, it will not be the same. Asians and Whites do not have the same hair, Black and Whites dont have the same hair either so of course she is going to ask only one race because she wants to the answers to be from someone who has had experience with her situation and from someone who is the same race as her. Stop being so quick to judge! Anyway, to answer your question: If you have not had your ends cut off your hair will break in the shower, the same has happened to me that is why I get my ends cut every few weeks. Only the ends which is a little bit, not a lot of hair, only the tips. It then becomes tangle-free and the comb goes right through it without breaking any off. Another thing is that you have to buy Black shampoos and conditioners. A white person's shampoo will not be the same as a black person's shampoo that is why they have made different hair products for that. What you have to do is go to your local hair product store and go under the Black aisle and choose a good conditioning shampoo. We also don't use white people's perm, so there are a lot of differences when it comes to treating your own hair. When you blow dry your hair after washing it, use only a dryer with an attached comb piece. Gently comb the hair while the dryer is above the hair. You also should grease your hair, dry hair chaps off, it becomes too brittle and breaks easily so it's good to keep it moisterized enough. A good Black hair sheen will do the trick, I use one called Black Magic. I love it. I use it to style my hair and it shines it well and keep my hair soft, moist, and healthy. It's affortable. Using Black products will keep your hair healthy. Good luck!

I'm obviously not a black woman but I can tell you that it's normal for about 100 hairs to fall out every time you wash it. It happens to everyone so you are not going bald or anything like that.
If you have a hairdresser ask their advice about it.

is your hair chemically treated? If so I suggest you give the chemicals a rest for a while.

Not a woman, but I date them all the time.
