Sounds to me like you need to wonder why everybody feels that what is happening to Lebanon is self-inflicted.
Think of all the opportunities Lebanon had to keep something like this from happening.
Think of the fact that Lebanon actively supported Hezbollah.
Think of the fact that Lebanon set themselves up for what is happening.

why do people not support lebanon? because the country is being manipulated by a terrorist organization. that is why, if lebanon wants this all to end they need to oust the hezbollah from their borders, instead they allowed them to gain positions in the government just like palestine allowed members of the hamas to infiltrate the govt. reap what you sow, islamic terrorist groups attacked the u.s. they've been attacking isreal for centuries, reap what you sow.
