My puppy is 3 months old and does have a very large clitoris, but other than that I see nothing else to tell she is anything other than a female. Only serious answers please respond because I'm serious about this. I am planning on having her spayed but will I also have to have her neutered too? Help???

Female dogs will also "hump" things. This is more of a dominance behavior than a sexual one.
Have your pet spayed and most of that will stop. She may jump on something from time to time out of frustration but you should not have any probelms getting her spayed.
I am sure she is fine and just being a dog.
What you are seeing is not your dogs clitoris it is the dogs vulva.

It is in no way a sexual thing. She is at that age where she will try to insert he dominance over things. Humping is a sign the she feels this teddy bear is lower then her. Like the age old thing about dogs humping peoples legs, they are not trying to have sex with that person just tell them the are the pack leader. This is the time where you must let the puppy know that the humans in this house hold are in charge.

"Humping" is not normally a sexual behavior. This is why females do it. It is a dominance behavior. Your puppy is trying to demonstrate that she is above the stuffed animal in your pack dominance heirarchy.

This is perfectly normal. (btw, spayed=neutered). Spaying is a good idea for many other reasons.

They do have dogs that are hermaphrodites, it 's in every animal as well as humans! Check with a well known and respected vet. He can tell if the puppy is like that via a physical exam. If itis like that, it will go after male and female when older. Hermaphrodites are considered freaks of nature (animal as well as human).

It is just a dominance issue. Even spayed females might show dominant behavior. This is more likely if you live with someone. She might be trying to sho she is the alpha female in the house. Generally this behavior should correct itself when she is spayed, however it could turn into an issue that could be addressed with training.

Not necessarily, no. Female dogs do and will hump. We had one that did the same thing, my aunt and uncle have a female dog that used to, too. There's nothing to worry about. :)

All puppies do it, male and female. They grow out of it by about 6 months.

No, that is normal puppy behavior and will most likely go away after she is spayed.

this is pretty normal for a puppy. Nothing to worry about. I promise. Just tell her "No" and give her a nudge on her bottom to make her stop.
