Definitly, As a member of the LDS church we believe that God talks to us just as much as he did anciently.

I do believe in modern day revelation - but there are several signs in the Bible that you check that revelation against.
God speaks to each one of us too, if we listen. But we must be very close to Him to be able to share this special relationship. It's different from revelation. It's just God carrying on a relationship with you. Spend lot's of time with Him reading your Bible and in prayer, and He will talk to you too!

In the past, God spoke to Prophets to establish a covenant with people or to send down revelation. The last person he spoke to in such manner was the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). That was because he was given the responsibility and mission to establish the covenant with God for all of mankind until the final day of this Earth. Therefore, when God spoke to Muhammad, it was revelation for all of us.
God still talks to man, but not in the same way as He spoke to the Prophets. Today, God speaks to us like His children... giving guidance and hope. He does not send down blazing revelation for any of us to become modern day saviours. That chapter in human history has been sealed.

I don't think we will truly know the answer to that. I mean back then people would be listening all the time for God. Now days people say they hear God talking and they get called crazy. I would think after a while God would just stop trying to talk to people. Maybe you Christians should listen and stop trying to rush things so much. When you give something to God to help you then stop taking it back and try to do it yourself.

No, the Bible is a complete work. What more revelation needs to be after God showed up in human form?

Oh, absolutely NOT! We now have the FINISHED Bible, the word of God, with ALL OF ITS WISDOM. What more could we need? The Book of Revelation is there even to guide us thru the End Times and says at Rev. 1:3: "happy is he that reads aloud and understands these words." So we see that no only is it understandable but that God expects us to study and read it. So, God is with us constantly, to guide and love us, to expect us to USE HIS WORD with a "discerning eye" and to study it daily. Also to congregate together to build ourselves up spiritually and in brotherly and sisterly love. We have all we need, because HE made sure of it.
He constantly makes our minds open to new ideas, but not in a "vision" like fashion. Just in a way where we are OPEN to new ideas.

No - God does not speak to man as He did in the beginning. God's Word is spoken through the Bible. Revelations is a book that requires some great study - to much to type here. Please check out the site below - you can find your answers through research.

It has never been a case of God not talking to us, but rather a case of us not being quiet enough for us to hear what God is saying.
How often do we ask a question and then continue with our prayer and never stop talking long enough for the Creator to answer. Too many people carry on a one-sided dialog when they pray.
Next time you want to hear God speak to you, do what Emanuel did...say "I am here and I am listening, God." Then sit and quiet your mind ... and listen. You may or may not hear "words", but if you keep on practicing eventually you will "know" what He's saying to you.

Man is a religious animal. Around 85% of the planet believe in some deity or other. Hopefully, we will someday grow past the need for "gods" (unfortunately, I'll probably be dead by then)

God now lives with every christian everyday all day. We are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. What more communication does a christain need that that? We no longer need a man to tell us what God wants us to do or how to conduct our lives before Him. In short I would say every christian is a prophet of God...
