I agree with you. Women who dress like whores with 3 kids and a husband are still looking for Mr. Right. I see it all the time. I personally have a pretty decent body for 3 kids and a husband of 18 years, but I dress very modest, (nice, but I cover my @ss) On the few occasions do dress sexy, (For an anniversary dinner out with mt husband for instance), I fell VERY uncomfortable with the wandering eyes, and sexual remarks from other men. Some women just need to have that constant attention I guess, but it makes me feel victimized. At home I always ware clothes...but then again I have 3 teenage boys and a 2 male cats//LOL

Well yes and no. The last thing that I want to see is someones jelly belly with stretchmarks hanging out. But you don't have to have children to have a belly. I also think it depends on your body shape and size, as well as your age. I myself wouldn't wear things that a 17 year old girl would wear, regardless if I had the body or not. Do I like to show alittle skin? Hell yeah, I am an adult and am proud of my body and how I look. I see your point though about people running around maybe showing things that they shouldn't be, however I disagree that you should have to cover up just because you are a mother. If you got it, flaunt it!

That depends on your body and where you are.
If you have your figure back and are going to the club have fun.
If you decide to show up at your childs school with everything hanging out...not a good thing.
Ultimately it's a personal choice and I see parts of people (with or without children) all the time, that I rather not see. I just look away.

well it depends if your just showing a little tummy in a picture that you use on a Internet forum that your 10 1/2 month old will never see.and you worked your *** of 2 hours a day 6 days a week to get that body . and you husband knows you use the picture and is OK with it. then i think its fine.no reason to be a Prudy Prudence. when your still young and your only child is just a baby. i might change my thinking when my BABY gets older. but for now you only live once and you get old quick so whats wrong with feeling sexy while you still can?im 27 years old i should stop
feeling and looking sexy because i have a baby?

Well- I had my first son when I was 16. Of course when you're a teenager, you dress differently than you do once you grow up. For a long time I saw nothing wrong with still wearing my old clothes-the short shorts, and belly shirts, etc.- Then I grew up and realized that I wanted my kids to look up to me-and that meant setting a good example. I dont want them to grow up thinking girls should walk around flaunting their bodies. So- I changed--I still dress sexy when its appropriate-but I have class now. I can still look good without lettin it all hang out. ;-) I think more young mothers should think about it like that. Whether you have boys or girls...same principle. Hope this makes sense...Dana

Around age 4 or 5, a child's natural modesty starts to kick in as well as an awareness that the opposite sex is, well, different. There's a reason why grade school boys and girls think the opposite sex is yucky. It's a natural protection against exploring sexuality before they are ready to handle it.

During this time, boys and girls should not be exposed to opposite sex nudity, and while I believe that modest dress is most appropriate at all times, it is especially important during these formative years.

well i don't think that women should go around in long dresses or turtle necks and pants or anything but i think that we look sexier and more beautiful when we don't feel the need to show every inch of skin we have. I agree that it is getting ridiculous how people are showing too much skin

That depends!! I'm not one to show a lot of skin. But I will still dress very attractively and I've had 4 kids. So It just depends on the outfit.

I think it depends on the age. I have always felt if you are uncomfortable then the child prob is. I think I stopped letting my kids see me undressed when they were around 3 or 4. And it seems it is around that age or a little after they become self consious.

I think it depends on what skin you're talking about. Many women cover up because they're unhappy with what pregnancy has done to their bodies. Personally, I believe it's a personal choice. One can't decide for another person what they "ought" to wear...
