I have 17 black cats all of whom were rescued or abandoned as kittens and they each have a unique personality. I would watch them for a few days and then a name would come to me that was fitting for that particular kitten. You'll know when a name is the right one but be sure to use it often so they will learn to recognize it. Every one of my cats knows its name even in a room of many and will look up if not get up and come to me. Just a few of my cats names are, Kelsea, Bosco, Griswold, Sailor, Bailey, Keegan, Nolan, Jetty, Veyda, Kassidy, Madison........

Well...the two black cats that have been in my family (one lost to cancer a few years back, the other now a very rambunctious adolescent) were named "Howard" and "George". More to do with their personality than anything. For a female I would suggest something regal like "Bastet" (the Egyptian cat godess) or "Cleo" or "Penelope", or perhaps something mysterious like "Phantom" or cute like "Inky".

She certainly has a personality as all cats do go with that or something that is your favorite. Cats do not mind being named after a hero of yours. You are welcome to borrow my names
a black male named Demetre
a grey female named Grasshopper (from KungFu)
and sugar gliders named Fred, Tokka & Rahzor (tmnt movie)
Unique names are always great, because they mean something to you. Plus it is funny when a girl has a guys name.
Have fun naming her!

Luckey, Midnight, Shadow, Moonlight, Babe, Charlotte, Cuddles, Choco, Chocolate, Cupcake, Star, Venus, Saturn, or Indago.
It depends on what you think works for her!
