I'm 15 years old, and I've injested 4g's of APAP in one sitting. It is recommended that you only take this amount within 24 hours. How detrimental is this for my liver? Should I be concerned?

Don't do that again. Acetominophen can destroy your liver. Its a very bad thing to do.

Acetaminophen is the same thing as Tylenol and it is bad on livers. Usually if you don't take any more you should be OK. Have you seen the commercial about Tylenol where the lady says that if you aren't going to take the right amount then don't take any at all? That is because every year people take too much and die from liver failure. Just be careful of what you take. You take pain killers to get better not worse.

If you go to the hospital with an acetaminophen overdose they make you swallow a substance called mucomyst and it stinks like rotten eggs and skunk piss. You have to take it about every 4 hours.
You should at least let your doctor know you took that much, so if you die painfully and slowly, they will know why your liver failed next year because that is what happens when you try to kill yourself with Acetaminophen.
You are really stupid and Why on Gods green earth would you do such a thing?
