Dates don't give me gas. Beans, yes.

It all depends upon the quality of the smell of the gas you are passing. If it has a light and airy quality of recently purchased salmon, then your partner may not notice. If on the other hand it smells more like you have a gastrointestinal infection, you probably should refrain from the flatulent acts.
If you are really concerned, simply be honest with your date and ask permission to pass gas.

I passed gas on a "first date" once. It was a "blind" date. She was ugly. I was trying to end the date early and actually forced myself. To my disappointment she enjoyed it and asked me if I could do it again. She did have a "great" body. I told her if she would put this brown paper bag over her head, I would. She did, so I passed gas again.

It ended up being the "BEST" blind first date I ever had!!

Well, seeing as how sometimes you cannot control passing gas, there is no certain number of dates.

There can never be enough dates dear... that is unacceptable at any level of romance... I don't know about the rest of the ladies out there.. but a guy farting in my car is just not something I care to experience..lol

I'd say over a year of dating...though I'd try to refrain from that as long as possible...no need grossing someone out
