NEVER do this. This would create a horrible working environment. Even if you hate this person, telling them something negative about their child is not appropriate. If they spent all day showing you horrible pagent pictures of their ill mannered children, you should still not mentions that you find them unattractive.

Why would you say it anyway? If you had a child would you want someone to say that to you? At work a co-worker has a picture of her baby and well I don't think hes cute, but I would never say that to his mother. Be careful what you say to people at work. I am a supervisor and well making comments like that could backfire on you.By saying something like that could cause a ugly argument and well, most would side with the mother. Like the OLD saying goes esc in this case, If you cannot say something nice then don't say anything

Why on earth would you want to? Everyones idea of cute is different to begin with. Plus all parents think their child is cute. If you don't have one, then one day you will realize. Plus why put them through the distress of trying to figure out how to tell you how rude you are?

You don't have to tell someone their child isn't cute.

What point would that serve? It would only lead to the person being upset.

Now if you want to make them upset you could say something like "Nice Kid, too bad you dropped him on his face."
Or "Wow your kid looks just like you....UGLY!"

But I wouldn't recomend saying this to anyone. Especially, with guns being so easy to purchase. You never know how someone will react.

You don't.
You say "You must be so pleased." Thus you are not lying by saying how cute the wretch is when it actually is not.
Note that this works even when they ask, "Isn't [it] a cutie?" They will assume that you agree.

Simply: you don't. Why? Because chances are, if you have a child or will have a child, someone is going to think it's ugly.

Why would you even say that? All parents think their own children are cute. Keep your mouth shut.

well you could maybe give the kid a nickname like oh i don't know maybe "turd" and if his mom asks you why you nicknamed him that you could say cause he looks like S H I T . Or you could just keep it to yourself and laugh about the ugly kid behind her back with your friends.
