How come US can not secure border with Mexico?

While many post communist countries, decades ago, were able to do that.
Many borders were longer than US/ Mex.

We could secure it but our brainless leader wants open borders with Mexico and Canada. Plans by our government is to open borders and provide open trade with a big highway running from Chile north cutting through the USA into Canada to the northernmost regions of commerce.

This is only one of the reasons Bush should be impeached!!

Like Cherokee says, Bush has no intention of securing the borders ... the administration is paying lip service to border control while they're secretly planning to open the borders even wider ... by 2010, a free flow of workers, goods and services is planned across the borders of the United states and Canada, making the "illegal issue" but a memory ... the illegals will now be legal, for ever and ever, Amen ... and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it, unless we make ourselves aware of what's going on, something that Bush isn't all that keen for us to know ....

Because King George IV of America never signed an order to secure them. He asked for state volunteers. He will never protect Americans being shot and killed on our borders by the Mexican army and other militants. For that, he should be impeached as a recent poll 58% said he should be and tried as a traitor. He wants to get as many illegals up here he can to say we can't defend ourselves and must end our country for his government replacement plan, the SPP.

He has declard open season on Americans to get there.

It certainly isn't that we can't, in Eisenhower's time we even did. It is that Bush and current politicians, each for their own reason, don't want to.

We pay for the education and benefits for illegal aliens who give cheap labor to big business and potential future votes to politicians and unions. Only we are suffering from this.
