If my tv, stereo, appliance is off or not in use but it is connected to the wall. Is it wasting electricity? Should i Just unplug it all together?

I believe it does. However it is not enough to unplug everything in your house. Things that you don't use continuously throughout the day like blenders, toasters perhaps, coffee makers should be unplugged. I wouldn't be able to unplug my tv anyhow, I have this monster wall unit, that needs to be emptied, then taken apart just to move it. Good idea though, that you are trying to conserve.

Most of them are still using electricity. Especialy TV's! The EPA made changes many years ago for the manufatures to alter the electronics in our homes to go into a conservation mode when not in use. However! they are still using electricity!

your electronics use electricity but not a/c appliances except water heater!
