A person would have to be 18 to apply without at least parental permission. The first step is to apply for permanent residency, then after five years of permanent residency (green card), you can apply for citizenship.
Here is the US Immigration website, which outlines the various kinds of visa's and requirements for them.

I cannot be certain but I believe it would be at least 18 without your parents doing the same and you do it as a family. The legal age for signing documents in most states is 18 and in some 21. Perhaps if you proved you were an emancipated minor -- totally supporting yourself, or going to school. You should be able to go online to INS site and find your answers. Good luck. ..... With all the health care advantages you have in Canada, and as much as I LOVE the USA ... think about it.

Yes pretty hard, you have to be qualified in such a way that nobody but you can do a particular job. The easiest way is probably going as an illegal alien and waiting to be naturalized. By the way, why would you leave Canada for worst?

You must be 18 or older. It shouldn't be hard at all. For information on that do a research on the US Embassy in both the USA and Canada. Good luck!

Someone at my job in Quebec asked for US citizenship, she told me she would get it after 6-9 months. As for the age, I'm guessing you have to be 18

I believe the age is 21. At any rate, coming from Canada would not be that difficult...It is always best to check with the American Embassy or American Consulate where you are located.

18, i guess. my friend is 18 an became a citizen last month, but i think if her family had come here sooner and they applied while she was a minor, then she would have become a citizen if her parents passed. u also have to remember that u have to have been here long enough.
