You are born again!!! You have a best friend that will always be with you! He never forgets you, no matter what! You are filled with The Holy Spirit and are on your way to a more fulfilling life! And, since you will be living forever, you get to spend eternity with Him and be at complete and utter hapiness and peace!!! God choses the people He wants to know Jesus, and it is wonderful to know that God loved you that much! I have lived in sin for most of my life. I asked Jesus into my heart when I was like 8 or 9 years old. I didn't understand it, and my parents weren't religious. I grew up doing whatever, any sin you can think of, and my life was heading nowhere. I mean, I had happiness at times and accomplished things, but at 29 years old, I was soooo lost. I'm a mother, nurse, I'm a nice person, but it wasn't enough. I put my life back in Christ, and I am the happiest I've ever been. I still have a long way to go in my spiritual journey, but I know that I have Jesus by my side and can accomplish anything!!!!

Well the act of salvation is acknowledging that Christ lived with your mouth and inside your heart. When you are saved you have an intense joy and many people are even brought to tears when they encounter salvation and the power of the holy spirit.

Nothing... absolutely nothing. In the huge scheme of the world, not a darned thing happens when one is saved.
When a non-Christian becomes a Christian, the world has lost another free-thinker to the religion business.

They surrender to the power of a Christian Group Entity, feel their healing energies and emotional support, and submit to their domination and spiritual authority in the Mid Realms of Spirit.

It means that you will, from that point on, life your life for Jesus. Honestly, it must be nice, but I don't understand it at all. When I got "saved" I was no longer allowed to drink or smoke or swear or make love or listen to rock music or laugh at crude jokes. I don't see how staying on my toes 24/7 is supposed to make me feel "saved."

Personally, I think the christian idea of "getting saved" is almost as stupid as people thinking that Kelly Clarkson and the Simpson sisters have any talent! If you can't pull your head out of your butt when things go wrong perhaps you deserve what you get. ever think of that?

Jesus said, "Truly, truly I tell you, the one who hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and does not come under judgment, but has passed from death to life." (John 5:24)
You undergo a "heart" transplant. God begins a new work in you so that you can live a life pleasing to Him. This life then glorifies His Son.
Your desires and interests change from the world and its issues to Jesus Christ.

They're name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. And whose ever name is written in the Lamb's book of Life, shall be with Him in Paradise.
And no man can be plucked from the father's hand.
