I had to bar myself today from all my local casinos as yesterday was the final straw, i took 400 pounds from my son and lost it, he went with me to bar myself so i would do it. Does anyone reckon that that will be enough for me to stop, or any sugestions on what else it will take for me to quite. I have no willpower and have never given up anything before, i just move on to something else, but i dont think this is going to be that easy.

I lived in Vegas 16 years and got really beat up by gambling. Gamblers Anonymous is the only way I know of that actually works. I haven't made a bet in 13 yrs+, One Day @ A Time.
A very good friend of mine here in San Diego has 35years clean and he started by going to GA in London.
I won't wish you good luck...just a lot of hard work.

I myself live in Las Vegas where they have more gambling than anywhere else in the world and i also deal poker full time. But i know when you live in Vegas stay away from the slots, tables, and any other casino game, except for poker because the house has no edge on the player. For some people they can put 5 dollars into the slots and when they either lose that money or they win some, they stop. but you have a gambling disorder and you need to seek treatment right away. There is nothing worse than seeing people throw away their money like that..

If England has Gambler's Anonymous meetings then I suggest you go to them. They are a self help group that is filled with gamblers who want to give it up because it is ruining their lives.
If you don't have that there must be something similar that you can join. Find it!!

Why would you give up when you can cleanup? Just hedge bonuses, and make sure you open an offshore account, then you won't get taxed or if you do it will be minimal.
