Get some bacon wrapped filet mignon. You can get them at practically any butcher. They are easy to make, and they aren't too expensive. Make a salad, bread, baked potato and top it off with a good bottle of wine and a great desert. Not a bad meal at all!

Since it's just for two you might want to get a good cut of steak, baked potato with fixings and a salad or veggies.
It all depends on what you like.

Well the last time my fiance was visited we made this meal: A spicy sausage pasta dish and coconut rice. Maybe not your typical combination but it tasted yummy. And for dessert we had chocolate fondue with fresh fruit and slices of angel food cake. The fondue was sooo very simple and easy and very romantic when you're feeding each other food. ;)
