My friend got me and this guy (her friend) emailing eachother. We've never met in real life, but he's good friends with my friend. He knows a lot about me through my friend. He says a a lot of really good things to me, but talks trash about his ex. I'm starting to like him back, and I don't know if I should. Well?

I know his ex, she's a total *********, and she's my sworn enemy (since long before I met him). I hate her too, so I don't mind it when he says bad stuff about her. I find it rather hilarious.

If he says bless you when you sneeze, and holds the door open for you, he is good. Hard to tell in an email.

Good at what? Knowing whether he is a good person or not is something that takes time, you make sure his words and his actions reflect the same thing and know that the trash talking about the ex is coming from the fact that he was hurt by the situation and this is how he expresses that, if he mentions it often it means he isnt over it yet.

Be careful. Someone who'll trash 1 ex, will trash another. If its related to intimacy, and you break up, do you want him talking you down to the next girl?

you never know a guy in a courting stage because all you will see and hear are superficial nonsense. this guy you met is no good because of the way he treat his ex. true men never do such thing even it's a painful experience. fish are catch thru their mouth. be an observer!

I wouldn't talk to anybody who is still stuck on their ex. The odds are there is a reason why she is his ex and the he may be at fault. Also you don't want to be in a relationship where have to hear be this girl, do you?

You need to meet this person to make this determination. Even if he is good friends with your friend.. doesnt make him fit for you. Only you can decide if its going to work or not.

In your emails.. always remember that words are cheap. It takes a good while to determine if this guy is genuine or not. Good luck.

I never talk trash about any ex, consider it poor taste. Remember, someday it may be you who is the "ex" and he'll be smiling as he talks trash about you.

Maybe the three of you could meet in person, you know, go out together and that way you could get a better idea about him.

The only way to know is to get to know him for real. But I suggest that you meet him along with your mutual friend.
