If you read "The Five Love Languages you learn that there are five different ways to express love, and different people appreciate different "languages" more. They are:

Quality Time
Gifts
Acts of Service
Words of Affirmation
Physical Touch

Depending on the guy (or gal) some of these will be more or less important - it's key to talk and observe and find out which ones mean more or less to your partner. For example, I knew a woman once who just didn't appreciate gifts, but if you served - doing the dishes, helped clean the house, etc - she really felt loved.

Most - but not all - guys really like the physical touch. Words may or may not mean a lot, depending on the guy. Gifts mean a lot to most, but not every guy. Some will think "You're just trying to buy my love." (That's not me!) Some guys REALLY appreciate service - cooking, doing laundry (others just expect it but it's not "love" to them). Most men appreciate time together - but some will feel smothered with too much time.

Talk to your guy, and get a feel which love languages mean the most to him.

Depends on the man. We're all pretty unique and like different things.......and have different "love languages."

I would recommend checking out the book called:

"The Five Love Languages: How To Express Heartfelt Commitment To Your Mate"

When you finally realize that you can't change him. That you will accept him most of the time for who he is, who he has become since the relationship and what his potential may be with your help to help him bring it out. He feels loved when you can grab his hand when times become harder and more dfficult, and when you won't walk away when in fact you want too at times. He feels loved when you stand by him when he losses his job, when he forgets to say how much he appreciates you, when he blows is cool for almost no apparent reason.

It's so simple. Just be a friend. Treat us like you would a good friend. So many times we come home and just hear the bad things...the water heater quit, the gas company called and they are going to shut off the gas, the car is making a funny noise....

I wish I knew! Sometimes I think it's just an ability to make him feel important. Every man's different, though. So....Good Question!

the small things... the same things a woman might enjoy... surprise them with a foot massage or a meal or let him watch what he wants on tv... talk about the day, give him a ******* unexpectedly
