Just out of the service and trying to smoke all the dope in the state of Michigan. Drinking cheap wine and indiscriminately dropping anything that was purported to be acid, PCP, Psilocybin, etc. etc. It was fun, but I'm glad to have survived the experience with most of my sanity intact.

I was a junior at the University of Arizona and a bead wearing hippy! lol. Going to love-ins at Randolph Park and listening to the Mamas and The Papas and Jefferson Airplane, Joan Baez and the Beatles. Had a black light in my bedroom and psychadelic posters of Jimmy Hendrix in there lol. Ahhh, the good old days lol. Gas was 19 cents a gallon. We used to collect soda bottles and turn them in for enough money to fill up the VW bus for a week lol.

Well it all depends on what month in 1969 you ar talking about. But I would have to say either in a crib, high chair, stroller, drinking a bottle, getting my diaper changed, sleeping or crying. I was months old.

In 1969 I was in HS, entering my senior year. I had my fair share of "Bali Hai" wine and other accoutrements of that lovely era. I do miss activism of that era, and the dawning of the women's and civil rights movements.

Assuming you mean 1969, I was not so far away from where I am now... but I was a lot shorter then and the country was a much nicer place than it has become.
