why do dog,s like cat,s when cat,s don`t like dog,s is it all way,s
been like this or what plez answer thanks

Opposites attract. LOL. Seriously, sometimes it's the dog's temperament and tolerance for cats who are so different from them. I think owners have a lot to do with this as well. If owners who have dogs are friendly toward cats in the presence of their dogs, then, sometimes, dogs will treat cats accordingly. Dogs are smarter than some people think.

my dog loves cats and hates other dogs. my dog had a cat friend and they would sit outside together and the cat would lick my dog's ears and my dog would lick the cat's. i think it depends on if the dog is around cats when they are young. i have seen cats and birds get along too, but that is because they were raised together. strange!!

My cat likes my dog and my dog likes my cat they have gotten used to each other and my cat grew up with my dog so I always say they are friends

I have a dog that is jealous of my attention to my two cats. He tolerates them otherwise. Not all dogs like cats.

It depends on the dog and cat my dog loves ats and my cats love dogs.Its the dogs choice.

my danes like cats and my cats sometimes groom my danes, so thats not always true!
