Hope for peace never dies. As long as man lives on Earth, the hope for peace will always be there. But just sitting back and hoping is not enough... we have to resolv conflicts first.

If you mean hope of peace to end wars... hm, I don't know what to say, to be honest. Wars are made for a purpose, and the reasons are related to survival... access to resources, maintaining a well-functioning economy, etc. ... I am skeptical about the utopistic hope for peace..... we humans are built in another way - our brains and thoughts are often run by hormones,,, capture hormones..... we want more and more... we want to multiply..... there is no end to this story. Only reason can help and get us out of the trouble we are causing ourselves!

The Holy Spirit within us can give us peace. While the world around us may be filled with hate and violence, God promises a new heaven and a new earth. God will always take care of His people, no matter what happens. Even if I get killed by a bomb today, God takes care of me by bringing me to heaven to live with Him in eternal peace.

So long as anyone wants to initiate force against another for any reason there will not be peace. This includes forcing someone to give up their hard earned money (taxes), forcing someone to not put certain things in their bodies (drug laws), forcing someone to live by the ways of your religion, etc.

I grow tired of "If Jesus comes back" as an answer to peace. Why not do something yourself, JC didn't take part in our modern politics, and forgien policies. Why not just attempt to understand, and "oh Hell" maybe even accept other cultures, rather than play Christian, and wait for it all to blow over.

God Helps those who help themselves. Translation:You're alive, now make your life worth while.

"Invite all to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are most gracious" ( Quran 16:125 )

IF WE follow this one beautiful verse of the Holy Quran, there IS a lot of hope...The Quran Guides us - asks us to come to common terms...forget the differences for once...it asks us to follow the path of peace... READ THE QURAN - FOLLOW it ! there is hope inshaAllah...

This one verse calls people of all religion - to look into their religious scriptures... have a good study - to REASON - to respect each other...
yes...there is a lot of hope...
