I've only been a member of yahoo questions a short time, and there are so many people using it to voice racist views and push their religions on others. I ask you...... whatever happened to live and let live????

People who are too cowardly to confront people on the streets with their anger, religion, racism, or whatever can bash people behind the safety of their computers. Could you imagine what it would be like if these conversations occurred around us in our daily lives?
Please don't be discouraged by the hate-mongers and the inane questions/answers posted here sometimes by the misinformed or by bored kids. They simply have empty lives and take little things WAY too seriously.

It starts in you. And you pass it on to your children and they pass it to theirs. Back when I was young, all my family were very racist with a lot of hate in their hearts toward persons that weren't the " same " as they were. I am 41 now with 5 children, none of My children hate people for " their color " or religions, they were tought this from birth. Therefore there are people who still live and let live. Let it start in you.

Differrent situations and different gatherings dictate their own interactment. In a place like yahoo answers live and let live just doesn't equate. It's just not humanly achievable with so many people, with so many created emotions in so many subjects from so many walks of life.
Live and let live is a personal attitude applied in your own private day to day life.

On yahoo, everyone wants to be heard it seems and to live and let live, they all want to be right about something. All I can say is there is the BIBLE, the truth behold in that book and with no religion background whatsoever. Live and let live the BIBLE.

it has morphed into "my way or the highway" ....... that's a sad testament to our American ideals and constitution....hatred and discrimination abound where tolerance and freedom of choice should be growing and prospering.... people have forgotten that everyone here, except the native Americans, are immigrants or descendants thereof.. the melting pot of ideas and ideals from many places are what made America the amazing place that it is today.... one freedom which still exists for those who are so unhappy here, is the freedom to leave if one doesn't like it ..... I'd be happy to hold the door for them.....

Some people think they are above the "live and let live" law. I don't know why. They eat and s h i t and f u c k and kill and die just like the rest of us.

If you analyse closely then you will come to know that majority of people are good who are peaceful respectful to all religions and non religious people. There is very few number of people who come here to promote hatred and these kind of people will always continue to exist.

I think that "live and let live" might just be an American saying about American attitudes like "be cool." Don't be surprised if you go to another country someday and everything is different.

We have too much time on our hands, or our own lives are in chaos so we feel the need to meddle in other peoples business in order to feel good about ourselves.
