We are more civilized now, and don't let damn religion tell who to love...

I fear for my daughter's safety, because the world is such a terrible place, with crazy people who kidnap, rape and murder children, people who twist their little minds and abuse them psychologically and emotionally. When she grows up, if she's gay, I would wish I could protect her from the arrogant ignorance and bigotry she would face, the senseless hate, all the morons who would try to cause her pain. I'm sure you worry more when your child is gay, because the world is cruel to gay people. But I would support my kid totally, absolutely, and admire her for having the courage to be true to herself, no matter what the stupid world thinks.

Now honestly "THINK"! Just exactly who or why would anyone be "HAPPY" to see their child have a harder more difficult way in life?? Even if they are the most accepting people of this lifestyle, it is still a harder life to live for their child. So tell me, "Great Thinker," just what kind of loving parent do you think would be "HAPPY" to see their child have a difficult, persecuted, unaccepted, time in life?
I'd also like to know why you say "turn" gay?Modern thinking now accepts and acknowledges that the majority do not "CHOOSE" and "turn" GAY. They are "BORN" that way. Why would "YOU" think that way, it's not 1800? We are more civilized in our "THINKING" now!!!!

Hardly a sin... people should be happy with the way God MADE them. Believe me if your kid is gay, they sure didn't choose it cause if they could choose, they would choose to be like anyone else. No one likes being the minority. You are who you are. My Grandmother always said " love your kids no matter what cause they choose your nursing home" lol All joking aside she also said " you can teach a child where they should go but you can't drag them kicking and screaming down it. You have to be willing to let go and let them choose the right path for them. You cannot live thier life for them even tho they may choose a life that you wouldn't choose for them. As a parent you love them and support them no matter what. That's the example set forth by God". She also told me to be true to yourself no matter who you and be proud of the way God made made you. Kids today have very low self esteem and we need to make them feel good about who they are, help them to understand it, be supportive, and teach them to have pride in thierselves. I hope this answers your question.

If I were to have a kid turn gay, I would kick myself for not doing my job as a parent. If it weren't for religion, this country woud be in very big trouble. History would repeat itself and God would destroy us just like he did with Sodom and Gomorrha because gay is a sin. Well history might just repeat itself the way we are headed.

Yea !don't let religion tell you who to looove. I guess its only a matter of time before the pedophiles get their "rights" also. and bestiality is just yet another example of "Loooove"While your shopping for a new porn video to show your kids I"ll be the one outside protesting and telling others to repent and receive Jesus.

If I had a gay child I wouldn't necessarily be happy but I wouldn't let it ruin my life. Children are going to be who they are no matter what their parents think.

First I don't believe people 'turn' homosexual; either they are or they aren't. I would support my child to the fullest. I would not love them any less and I would be accepting of the person they chose to be with.

I am gay. If I had a child. I would raise them to be however they wanted to be. I wouldn't push my sexuality on them...I would let them find their way.
