IF there is a God, God would have given us all the gifts God was willing to hand out. A prayer in my opinion, is more of a form of recognition. If said God were to be all knowing, wouldn't God know what you were going to ask for well before your prayer, or even birth for that matter?

Ok. And I guess praying for me to get rich has gotten no results either. And I guess praying for the 680 pictures that got corrupted and forever deleted after a once-in-a-lifetime trip has gotten no results either. I guess you could look at it that way. Or you could actually do something to improve the situation yourself. I'm getting a part-time job now so I can actually get some money. I asked a few other people who went on that once-in-a-lifetime trip to send some photos.
If you can't believe in the power of prayer, you should at least believe that you can do something to change the world, or at least that situation. If you think that God isn't answering your prayers, then do something yourself. If you want peace to happen, then you can do something about it. And I think if we all got faxes form God, we'd all believe in him. That'd be a little too easy. I just think that a quick and easy prayer shows some faith on your part, and maybe if the world becomes peaceful at least you can say that you did something.

God does hear and answer prayers. I have asked for peace and have receive peace of mind. I have asked for other thing and he has answered them. God can create peace in the world. When praying you have to believe it can happen. There will be peace in the world one day. Everything will happen in its season and in its time. One scripture say 1000 years hear on Earth is like 1 day to God The Eternal Father. Peter 3:8

God won't answer a prayer for peace. Period. God's Kingdom is NOT OF THIS EARTH. Satan is the ruler of this Earth. Look in the Bible. Until God returns and casts Satan into the Pit, God will not care what happens to this earth or those in it besides his faithful "few." So, if your looking for that fax, pray to Satan, cause God doesn't do tricks on command.
If you want to talk to God, YOU MUST go to God with a gentle and kind heart, with contrition and humility. Also, YOU MUST first forgive all others their sins AGAINST YOU. PERIOD. Otherwise, GOD WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOUR PRAYERS AND THE BIBLE SAYS THIS AT (LAMENTATIONS 3:44).
So, good luck with that!

Because sometimes, people may pray for something that isnt in line with his purpose. Right now, peace cannot come because he is in the middle of proving a point to us and to Satan. (If you want to know more about that, just message me, otherwise I wont take up the board explaining it). One knows that God hears them through faith, and sometimes, through results. He is All-powerful, and very wise, so if God doesnt answer our prayers, it doesnt mean he is not listening, only he doesnt want to (so he can fulfill his purpose for the betterment of mankind).

First of all you need to read what God says about peace... especially in these days ( Revelations ) Secondly , God many times answers prayers by NOT answering them. There is a way to know if He hears you also.. He is a spirit. Tune your spirit into his and you will know your answers by actually feeling them in your heart.

God always hears, its just that we dont hear Him answering. Its a different kind of "fax". You have to look for it in your heart.
Try sitting alone in a quite place, close your eyes and ask Him a question, and then concentrate really heard and youll find the answere.

James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.
God IS all powerful and all sovereign. He is not a push button gratification machine or Genie. If and when He answers rests solely upon His will, not ours. He loves us, and wants us to be happy. He also lets us go through trails in order to grow and learn. I find it best if it is viewed in the perspective of a loving father to a child. The father will always do what is best for the child. If the child is demanding and wants something that may hurt them self or some else, the answer could be no.
I used to think that it was a matter of having enough faith. Sometimes it was repetitious, or a "powering through" to reach the heavens! Then I realized that this showed a lack of faith. He is as close as the mention of His name. Sometimes, despite our anxiousness, it is best to simply wait, and to thank and praise Him for what He has done for us already. This is worship. He inhibits the praises of His people.
Some of the joy I find in life is just watching what God is doing in my life, and the life of others around me. His wisdom in both answered and unanswered prayer. I've seen Him work instanteously. I've seen Him work a wonderful work in the lives of the people I love. I've seen His Spirit touch both believers and unbelievers alike, with a love and compassion unlike no other. It's about seeing with spiritual eyes, allowing God to be Lord of your life, letting His Spirit teach and guide us on the way we should go.
As we cultivate our relationship and talk (pray) to God, it becomes easier to know and to do His will, and to sense His answers to our prayers. We can boldly go to the throne of God and make our request know as one of His children. We must humbly and gratefully accept the answers of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Thank Him, for this is possible only by His love and grace towards us, by sending His son to redeem us. May God bless and grant you the desires of your heart, according to His will.

Romans 5:1 says that "Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You have to understand that through Jesus Christ we have been granted access to the very throne of God. We are children who can come and petition God about anything and He hears us. However, understand that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ has made us holy in God's Presence. If there is sin in your life, then it will hinder you from having peace. The Word of God is Isiah 57:21 says, "there is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked".

Because His Word Says It!....There are some things to consider before GOD will Answer your Prayers!....You must be saved (John 3:3), (John 9: 31), you must believe GOD (Heb. 11: 6), you must forgive, ( Mark 11: 25) .....GOD has certain guidelines in His Godly Kingdom, if a person don't abide by them ...they will not hear from GOD in anyway, shape form or fashion!.....GOD RULES!....Not man!....and yes, GOD is All Powerful, but He's also running the show (so to speak)...not man!
