I have a friend that has a muscle problem, what kind of things happen to your body when your body loses the function of muscle.

Mildly, it starts with general weakness. A person could have trouble walking, holding a fork, or focusing to read. It could also affect a person's ability to speak, breathe or move food through the digestive tract. If it becomes advanced, it could kill.

You can't walk. Your life seems to end. But with new research there is hope, and there always seems to be something the will improve a hopeless saturation.

my father died of ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease, and htis is a muscle wasting disease...
first they have trouble walking, then gripping and lifting, standing up, it progresses until they can't swallow, have trouble breathing, and finally choke to death

THAT'S TERRIBLE. YOU USE MUSCLE FOR EVERYTHING, WALK, TALK, BREATHE, YOUR HEART, YOUR BRAIN, TO SWALLOW, EAT, ETC.
