Of course not.

And it's not a sin to miss a church service even though you are healthy.

Sin is determined by breaking Yah's laws as found in the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy). Honey, I don't think you will find anywhere in there that it is a sin to miss a convocation because you are sick.

Mankind has tried adding their own rules about what we should and shouldn't do concerning worship, but we need to only care about what the Most High says. I used to be part of churches who would make a big deal out of it if you missed a church service. That is just not Scriptural.

noone wants you to go to church if you are sick. The only way I think it might be a sin is if you just say you are sick.
Of course depending on what kind of illness you have may depend on if you go or not. People with cancer or things like that take comfort in being in church with their church family.

No, it isn't a sin. Church is a place where people gather to learn more about Jesus. There is no reason to make other people sick to learn about Jesus. What you can do is read your Bible while you are sick. Maybe being sick gives you time to think about things going on in your life.

There are actually 2 reasons that you can miss church and it will not be a sin (according to my mother).

1. If you are sick
2. If you are travelling.

NO! God sees you and knows you are really sick when you dont attend church for that reason. It is when you tell someone you are sick when you are not and you dont go. That would be a sin. Hope you feel better! God Bless!

I think that by asking the question that you are wise enough to know the answer. If you believe that it is a sin then you should realise the fact that none of us is without sin, remember when Jesus says 'Let him who is without sin cast the first stone'.

Is the question about what other people think of you?

Don't worry.

It is not a sin to skip church when you are healthy. Attending church is recomended by God, but not required in any case.

God bless, and good health!
