Just noting that it wasnt necessarily an apple; in the Bible, it is just called 'a fruit'.

Eve ate the fruit because she wanted to be like God, knowing good and bad. Really though, it is, IN A WAY, good that she did. Im not saying its good to sin, but I am trying to further expose God's Wisdom.

If after Adam and Eve had sinned, God just wiped them off the earth and created new beings, (with free will or not), it wouldnt do anyone any good.. because that would have created doubts in peoples minds.. remember, there were millions of angels watching as Eve sinned. Questions would have been raised, like "Could Adam and Eve have been able to be like God?" and "IS God holding good things back from us?" So in wisdom, God let them sin and continues to let us today. This is why there is so much suffering in the world.. because God is letting man see for himself that he CANNOT do it without Jehovah. God is proving a point. That is also why we can be sure that he will step in when his point has been proven to the fullest and man has to accept that we need divine instruction.

Did she really eat the apple? or do you think that apple could possibly be a mataphor for Sex? See Life was just splendid and happy until sex complicated everything. The lord as we are told made Adam then Eve he was entertaining himself (i think). he gave them strict instructions etc along came a snake (apparently) and corrupted them enticing them to eat the forbidden fruit (fruit being sex). think about it they had sex (it didn't have anything to do with an apple at all). The lord was disappointed and the human race has been suffering ever since.

That's my theory and i am sticking to it. work your own theory out and believe in what you want or just simply believe in yourself and do not stress about stuff we will never know the truth about.

Never trust a snake

It will make you wise... it will taste good... you will be like God... you wont die

Lesosn learned:
Sin'll kill ya no matter what the snake on the street says

but just as there was a tree of life in the garden there is a tree of eternal life, the cross. And just as sin led to the ground bearing thornes, the ultimate crown of the redeemer will be a crown of thornes and just as the curse led to death, the redeemer entered death on the cross and conquored it paying for sin, rising on the thrid day

it's Eve... at least i'm assuming you're talking about the Bible story.
she was tempted by a talking snake that Satan was inhabiting. He told her it held all the knowledge in the world that God was hiding from her. so she wanted to know a bunch of stuff and therefore she ate the apple. well, actually nobody knows what type of fruit it was.

I believe Eve wanted to be like God. Not, you know major ego problem. See, knowing both good and evil, she could love unconditionally, (which she did already out of naivete), but now it would be out of choice, but she didn't realize the heavy price humankind would have to pay. Nor did she realize the heavy price she and her companion would pay. All goes to show you how a moment of good thought based in ignorance not knowledge can go wrong. Ha! Ha!

She is only human and was tempted by the devil.

God said in the Bible that we should over come temptation.

We all should learn that what eve did was only human.
